This book is an evidence-based guide for walking you through the Plant-First Diet.® In plain language, you’ll learn the principles I’ve spent a decade perfecting. You’ll find my proven methods for losing weight, gaining muscle or increasing energy. I even simplify the complex science behind living a long and balanced life.

My stressed-out-and-fat life peeked in 2011. Ever since then, I’ve tested the lessons I learn on myself to:
- Lose 60 pounds
- Increase my maximum bench press to more than 315 pounds
- Reverse my hypertension without medication
- Reduce my average resting heart rate from 72 bpm to 48 bpm
- Improved all my annual blood work to within healthy ranges
- Eliminate daily stress in my life and prevent panic attacks (8 years and counting)
